I was really impressed with the last release, with its smooth scrolling on Android which every other framework has issues with...it looked and performed like a native app on both my android 2.3 phone and my ics tablet. I've been using jqmobile based stuff and I've been frustrated with performance...
So I decided to come back to Enyo and port my 80% finished app but it seems every time I take a new look at WebOS or Enyo some new dark cloud appears.
I really need to know if Enyo is going to continue to be supported...
We are in the same boat, in the process of deciding on a framework we are going to standardize on. I really want to throw my weight behind Enyo but news like this how ever sensationalized doesn't help convince my peers.
Hey, just checking in from the holiday... the remaining Enyo team will be out at the Fluent conference this week, and I'll be doing a new talk about Enyo internals there. With the departures, I have expanded my role to be the lead architect for the Enyo team, but since this is an open source project, I expect we'll still see a lot of input from the team members that have left us.
Alas, with my new role, I will be backing off from my forum duties a bit and letting some of our excellent developer relations engineers help pick up the slack. I'll probably still read every post, but with luck, I'll finally lose my #1 posted position in our leaderboard

Frankly, @omastudios, I wouldn't care to move to US. My issue is I'm just a guy who has learned JavaScript, but if I would have something related/relevant to put in a resume, I would be sending it as we speak.
At this time yes. A group of people have loose the patience and hoping about webOS. We know the gaps, don't need to repeat again. But at same time HP is very lucky.. Why? The RIM situation.. Microsoft & Nokia don't sell WP as they wish. So HP have still good opportunity to enter in the market again only need to do the right things and don't repeat the same mistake. IMHO

Is this good or bad news? Is Enyo still going to be worked on?
And this means:
I fear it will be weeks of no one explaining anything =(
Strange timing, for sure, but whatevs.
Don't worry.

That's satisfied me, at least for the short term.

From what I know there is five people leaving, but the rest of the team is working very hard, and you will see this become a reality very soon.
